Sheep

We raise a Dorper and Katahdin cross of sheep.  We aim to have the most mellow sheep that are also easy keepers.  Much less mischievous than goats our sheep will still provide plenty of entertainment but our ewes are great mommas and easy breeders.  It's very common for us to have several twins and triplets with the occasional quadruplets thrown in.  Our sheep are a mix of grass and grain feed and great for breeding or for meat. Our sheep are protected by two guardian dogs as well as a donkey; out on the prairie we're always wary of coyotes.
